A HOOD STORY :

The birth of a streetwear brand

Every brand has a story.
Ours began with a Hip-Hop activist who refused to bend to the system.

Osno — also known as Black Osno — is a graffiti writer from the Comoros, raised in northern France. As a member of the GFB Klan, a hip-hop crew named after his neighborhood — Glacis, aka Glacifornia Beach — he first stepped into streetwear by designing T-shirts for his crew.

Between 2005 and 2010, he watched streetwear drift away from its roots. Brands moved toward the mainstream, chasing trends and money. Meanwhile, youth from the hood were being constantly misrepresented by politicians and media.

That’s when Hood Pride was born.

HOOD MENTALITY :

No investors. No bank loans. Just passion, paint, and purpose.
The brand was built from the ground up, using graffiti to fund and fuel it.

Hood Pride was never about hype. It was about pride. About reclaiming our image.
About showing that the youth from the hood are more than the labels thrown at them — we’re skilled, creative, and unstoppable.

Hood Pride isn’t just a clothing brand.
It’s a statement.
A message.
A flag for those who never had one.

Designed for those who are proud to have grown up in a hood, who claim it and never let themselves be crushed by the system. For all those who love hip-hop culture. For all those who have made it without forgetting where they came from. Those who help their little brothers and sisters to do the same.

We’re from the hood, we’re proud of it, we’ll keep moving forward with talents and determination. No matter how many prejudices and obstacles there are, we fight back and rise to be our true self.
